Straw Bale

Straw bale is a natural building technique that uses straw bales as the infill material in a post and beam structure. Straw is a very insulating material, so this is a great method for colder climates. These three articles all show step by step the process of building different kinds of straw bale houses, so if you are considering this method have a good read of them.
