"The perfect resource for anyone looking to hand craft their own mud house." Interesting Engineering.
Back in 2011, I ran out of money and ended up camping in a Turkish field. There was no power, no running water, and I had no building experience. I gathered a small group, and within six weeks we had erected the main structure of an earthbag house. Here's how we did it. The plastering took longer, not least because I ran out of money and had to go abroad to earn more. Life is funny though, because ultimately clay plasters became my thing. Why did I use the earthbag technique though?

My Other Natural Builds:
Since that first mud home in Turkey, I have become passionate about all kinds of natural building, and have been messing about with mud and lime ever since. Stone, lime, wood, cob, wattle and daub have been my main endeavours. You can take a look at my ancient barn renovation here.
Clay and Lime Plasters
These days clay plasters and lime works are my specialities. I'm in love with the freedom to create that these natural materials enable. They are very inexpensive, healthy, and beautiful. This website is a labour of love, and contains hundreds of free articles on natural building, as well as free courses. I take no money for adverts. All this information is donated by me and supported by the good people on Patreon.
