Earth,
You are deep, Rippling with stories. His, Hers and Ours. I roll over your surface, And you speak. Wherever I am, Whoever I’m with, You are there Underfoot. In my lungs. In my hair. My mud home. Not one square of you. All of you. Everywhere. The Soil, The Water, The Forest, Steppe and Plain. Enchanted planet, you are open to me, Whispering your secrets And I glide along your veins. Sky You are deep. Expanding with ideas. From above and beyond. As I travel beneath you. You inspire. Wherever I am. However I live. You are here. Overhead. In my eyes. In my ears. The road winds on, Over you. Under you. It is a flow born of you both; Earth and Sky. Life energy, Restless. Within me. Ever onward. The journey is unstoppable Pushing forever forward, Spilling me, Over my edges. Toward...

Yes. And there's so much of her to see, hear and feel. I'm on my way.

It's about time, that affordable housing can be found in this Guild stamped culture; where every thing must be normed and notorised. I want to be a part of it. In 5 years my life insurance will be paid out. It Would be comforting to spend my golden years in a Super Abobe house. I like the Idea of a composting toilet, solar current-heating and diging a well for drinking water. The only land line I would want is Internet and telephone to keep in touch with friends and relatives in the states.

Thanks CJ. I don't know where I'll build another mud home, but I'll definitely build one. At least one:) I'm waiting for Gaia to show me the way.

So good to hear that you are safely back in England, both of you. Great open ended poem -- so much in front of you. You have a lot to assimilate and mull over -- as the movie title says: "The Good, The Bad, The ugly" All that you dealt with, survived through and rallied from. I know you have gained a lot of strength and confidence, not to mention life long friends through the process too this day. Looking forward to your next installment on your class and also the continuing saga that is your life -- you live it well. God Bless, Stay Safe & Take care!

Hi Mike, thanks for asking. I am slowly making my way and figuring things out as I go. A little more every day and before you know it I will have arrived at the conclusion so-to-speak. I am tearing down My travel trailer and building a THOW (tiny home on wheels) on the old chassis trailer bed. When I am done it will be 36 feet by 10 and a story and a half high. Then I will decide, or finalize, exactly where I want to replant myself. My tow vehicle is a 1 ton camper van, fully equipped with beefed up suspension and brakes -- use to be used for towing horse trailers.

Love it Sandi! So...it seems there are a lot of vansters mingled among the mudsters:)) Which makes perfect, off-grid, freedom searching sense.

I was thinking since you have left Turkey you might come to the USA and help me build a mud home. I live off the grid when I am in the America... other than my cell phone. Maybe we could get married before we finished the place. Although I am unsure as you do not just wed someone on a dirty crush just because you both like sand bagging you need a rooted ideal foundation and then build that on friendship with the slick dust made stuff later...

Yes Atulya, there are quite a few of us round and about. Your acquisition looks very nice and will be a comfy little nest for the two of you. You might want to think about keeping your van no matter what else you do as it will always give you a place to be and a way to make any move, trip, life change you might want to. Mine is an oldie but goodie, a 1976 Chevrolet camper Van - not a conversion like some are -- made to be what it is and it handles all adventures well. I can take it where I would not be able to take a motorhome etc. Glad you found your van -- you will enjoy it. Happy travels to you both!
