Back in 2011, I ran out of money and ended up camping in a Turkish field. There was no power, no running water, and I had no building experience. I gathered a small group, and within six weeks we had erected the main structure of an earthbag house. It was a life-changing experience, and quite possibly the best undertaking of my existence.
